So you have decided that you want to create your own Psion software but where to create it?
The most obvious choice is on the Psion itself. Both the keyboard and screen are more than up to the job and you can continue no matter where you are. However, the Psion doesn't have to be the only place you can cut your code.
If you have a desktop machine and PsiWin installed then you could copy the code and work with the comfort of a full sized keyboard and screen. There any editor from the humble Notepad to Word will suffice as long as you remember to save the file as plain text.
There are other alternatives John Lohmeyer has produced an OPL editor that can be tailored to suit the programming environments of a number of Psion machines. This also has the ability to highlight keywords in colour and has a tree view of all available commands. OPLEdit is freeware and can be downloaded from John's site.
